Casa Gaia is located in Via Truglio, the ancient road which connects the port and Marina Grande beach with Capri city centre.
Our villa is therefore halfway between the seaside village of Marina Grande (just 5 minutes walk from the port, the bus and taxi terminal and the beach) and 500 meters from the centre of Capri, where you can admire the famous Piazzetta.
At Marina Grande port you can find the Laser Capri office, here you can ask any information about guided tour of the island and boat tour of the Blue Grotto.

How to reach Capri
You can reach the Island of Capri by ferry or boat departing from Naples or Sorrento. In the summer, departures are also made from Ischia, Positano, Amalfi and Salerno.
From Naples you can embark with fast ships and ferries from Calata Porta di Massa pier or with hydrofoils and jets from Beverello pier. Tickets for ships and hydrofoils can be purchased directly before boarding.
How to reach Casa Gaia from the port of Capri - Marina Grande
Starting from Marina Grande harbour, initially reach the BAR MOLO 20 then, at the small white fountain, turn right to the scooter rental shop "OASI MOTOR" (the one with yellow external blinds); on the left of this place you can see the stairs which lead to the centre of Capri. Take these stairs and only about 10 minutes on foot, on the left, you can find a white wrought-iron gate with a hand-decorated majolica plaque with the inscription: ”Casa Gaia”
Casa Gaia can only be reached on foot, for this reason taking a bus or the funicular is not recommended. If you need help with your luggage, at the port of Marina Grande a porter service is available to carry luggage up to the villa.
